Elizabeth Cody Kimmel spent her teenage years reading books, watching Star Trek, and writing in a purple journal that she fondly named "The Purple Book." Ms. Kimmel is the highly praised author of many books, including IN THE STONE CIRCLE, ICE STORY, and THE ADVENTURES OF YOUNG BUFFALO BILL series. She lives with her husband and daughter in New York's Hudson Valley and still treasures her multicolored volumes of "The Purple Book."
