It's that time again --- when we reflect on the year that is winding down. Part of that reflection means letting you know which of this year's children's books I think were the very best. I don't have a scientific method, but I know what I like (and what many of you like, I hope), so here goes. From the picture books on up to the novels, these books are loaded with fantasy, fun and adventure.
