Happy Thanksgiving

http://kidsreads.pmail.biz/pmailweb/ct?id=88+0+87+1+17324

November sure has flown by! It feels like it was just summer and now it's already Thanksgiving. With this in mind this month we are bringing you a roundup of books about Thanksgiving-related topics that was written by Marisa Emralino. Since the holidays are right around the corner, our Poll and Question this month are all about getting books as presents. Some of my favorite presents over the years were books. Quick hint though: We have found it is best to make a list of the books you want to read. This will keep people from buying you something you have read or selecting a title that may not be of interest to you!

In case you missed this last month....Ever wonder who writes the reviews that you see on Kidsreads.com? This month we've added brief biographies on all of our reviewers. You can see these by clicking on the link at the end of this note.

Happy Thanksgiving. Enjoy your turkey and time with family and friends. Gobble gobble from all of us at Kidsreads.com.

Kidsreads.com Talks to Lady Grace Cavendish and Introduces a NEW Series: The Lady Grace Mysteries
http://kidsreads.pmail.biz/pmailweb/ct?id=100+0+99+1+17324
The year is 1569, and Lady Grace Cavendish is chronicling her adventures in the court of Queen Elizabeth I. She became a protégée to the monarch when her mother, one of the Queen's most trusted friends and a Gentlewoman of the Bedchamber, lost her life in a plot to kill the Queen. When she's not attending to Her Majesty, Lady Grace spends her time romping through the royal gardens with her friends, a laundry maid and a tumbler --- and unravelling mysteries that need to be solved.

Kidsreads.com Chats with Lady Grace Cavendish
Kidsreads.com contributing writer Shannon McKenna traveled back in time to the year 1569 to speak with Lady Grace Cavendish, Maid of Honour to Queen Elizabeth I. Lady Grace talks about life at the Queen's court, what she likes best about being Her Majesty's Lady Pursuivant, and why she would never be able to conduct her investigations without the help of her two friends, Ellie and Masou.
