I've read the dark matierals eries by Philip Pullman. I love those
books!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The series cantains the following books. The Golden
Compass, The Subtle Knife and The Amberspyglass.

My favorite series of books (besides HP) is called the Orphan Train
Series. It's really good. It's about a family that gets seperated by the Orphan Train when their widowed mother cannot support them. Each story is about one of the kids. The first is called A Family Apart. Read the next ones after that. The first definately wasn't my favorite, so keep reading the next ones. Some are really good!

Other than Harry Potter I have read the Sally Lockheart series ( by Phillip Pullman ), the Animorphs series ( by K.A. Applegate ), The Lost Years of Merlin series  ( by T.A. Barron ), and the Lord of the Rings ( by J. R. R. Tolkien ). I enjoyed all of them.

Besides Harry Potter series books, I usually read the Santa Paws series books. Those books are so good that whenever I read them I can't stop. They're so good! The series of Santa Paws is about a family that owns a dog named Santa Paws and he helps people ands sometimes saves people. They're great and exiting books! I totally recomend this series.

I'm reading "A Series of Unfortunate Events" It's a series of when all bad things happen. There are seven books to it. I've read three, or four, I can't remember!
It's about these three children and there parents died, so they have to go to place to place to find a home, meanwhile, there uncle wants to have his hands on there dead parents fortune. I'm planing to read more of them. So far I think there great books!!!
( There not as good as Harry Potter, we all know that!)

I think that Artemis Fowl by Eoin Colfer is a great book, especially if you liked the Harry Potter books. (and I know you did) I would also like to recommend the Tripod series, by Matt Christopher.(It might not be Matt, I am not sure.) The Redwall series is also a great set of books

The Baby Sitters Little Sister,series is really neat. I think it is a really good series for kids to read. It is about a girl named Karen Brewer , who has two families and believes that there is a witch living across from her daddies house. It is really neat,and funny book.
