What is the book that you are looking forward to reading most on your assigned reading list?
I have a reading list that you can read any book by the authors my school gave. The authors that they gave me were Jerry Spinelli, Harry Mazer, and Norma Fox Mazer. The author whose books I have wanted to read was Jerry Spinelli. The book that I wanted to read was The Library Card because most of my friends read that book and said it was a really good book, so the book I want to read most is The Library Card.

At the school I go to, the will-be sixth graders do not have a summer reading list, yet I, along with probably 3 trillion people, am really looking forward to the fifth Harry Potter book. Not only that, but I am looking forward to Kristina: The Girl King by Carolyn Meyer (who is, actually, one of my favorite historical fiction authors).

I don't have an assigned reading list, but I do have a suggested list. I'm looking forward to reading Artemis Fowl: The Arctic Adventure.

I think that The Magic Locket would be an interesting book for me, and maybe interesting and good to other kids like me also! I look forward to reading it so I can get lost in it and have the best imagination ever!

We do not have a summer reading list, but I still love to read and I really recommend Peg Kehret. My favorite books that she wrote are The Stranger Next Door, Spy Cat, and I'm Not Who You Think I Am. Please do reviews on these books.

My teacher actually left an empty spot on our list. He said we could fill in any book we wanted. So I chose Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I waited in line at midnight, the day of the release to get a copy. I read it that first weekend. I can't wait to go to school and tell all my friends about it!!
