Arthur and his friends can hardly wait for the latest Scare-Your-Pants-Off Club book to hit the library shelves. When the book arrives, crowds of kids rush over to the library and stand in a long, long line --- only to be told by Ms. Turner, the librarian, that the series has been banned!

A group known as PAWS, Parents Against Weird Stories, has stopped the library from carrying the books, and the kids can't understand why. Arthur, Francine, Buster, and the rest of the gang make a plan to get back their favorite books, but you'll have to read the whole story to find out if it works.
