Christmas is coming and everyone should be
happy, right? Well, this year Kit worries that Christmas won't be
very merry. First she overhears that her family may lose their home
to the bank. Kit wishes she could earn money to help, but now she's
stuck taking care of her crabby great uncle Hetrick and his dog, which
doesn't seem to be helping anybody. And to top things off, Kit has
a fight with her best friend Ruthie. Because Ruthie's father is still
